Scope of Work:
RD Outdoor completed the installation of a new reinforced concrete pad designed to support a 120,000-lb industrial press with a 400-ton capacity.

The project included saw cutting the existing concrete slab and excavation to accommodate the new foundation system. A 1.5″ MDOT gravel base was installed and properly compacted to provide a stable subbase.

RD Outdoor crews tied reinforced rebar cages, constructed custom forms for the press pit, and installed anchoring feet to ensure proper alignment and long-term structural stability.

The work was completed with the placement and finishing of concrete, delivering a durable, high-strength foundation capable of supporting heavy industrial equipment.

Result:
A precision-built concrete foundation ready for Hussey Seating Company’s high-capacity manufacturing press.
